And here’s my first scene for Star Wars Uncut: The Empire Strikes Back;. I think I did this about two weekends ago. Animated in Toon Boom Animate, and the backgrounds are photos from my refrigerator and washing machine.
This past weekend I threw together what’s actually my second scene for Star Wars Uncut: The Empire Strikes Back. Mika and Ramona kindly provided the voices, an apple and two pickles kindly provided Yoda’s head, and everything else was lying around the house.
Oh, to put this in context, Luke Skywalker has just tried and failed to use the Force to extract his X-wing starfighter from the swamp on Dagobah.
I’m pleased to announce my first app for the iPad. It’s called Mug to Mug, and it’s a fun little matching game for kids.
Check out more details at the App Store, and enjoy!
What’s New in Version 1.1
-Now compete head to head and mug to mug in 2-player mode!
-Features a new soundtrack
I’m letting my Apple developer account expire, so this game will be disappearing from the app store.
Maybe I’ll make a free web version of this sometime.
Our bodies are over 800 percent water or something, so it’s important to keep well hydrated.
This is another simple one for Illustration Friday.
More like a spotlight, but he’s up high, so aha!
This is a quickie for Illustration Friday.
This week’s Illustration Friday topic is “contraption,” which I though was a perfect opportunity to showcase a new invention from my laboratory.
There’s a new dish being prepared in some of the world’s finest restaurants, and I wanted to get in on the ground floor, because I think this is the next big thing. It’s called “toasted bread” or more commonly “toast”.
I know what you’re thinking:
“Toasted bread? Why would I want to dry out an otherwise delicious, moist and chewy slice?”
While I’m not going to called you an uncultured ignoramus, I would respectfully suggest that you should TRY it before you pass such a crude judgment on something you know nothing about for crying out loud.
So anyway, I was thinking of ways that the preparation of toast could be brought the home market, and this is what I came up with. This is the head-mounted version, and the big issue I’m dealing with is REACHING THE TOAST, but I’m sure I’ll come up with a solution as the design process unfolds. Possibly a tremendous pair of chopsticks.
